HIDE THE CHOCOLATE GELT: This is a great Hanukkah party game. For those that love chocolate, consider this fun and interesting game. Hide the Chocolate Gelt is a great indoor game for kids to play at a Hanukkah celebration. You will need a package of chocolate coins, or you can use other types of candies or even fruit if you would like to. If your guests love chocolate, get several bags of the coins to use. Before your guests arrive, hide the chocolate coins in different places around a room. If you want to increase the difficulty, spread them out around several rooms. Tell the kids they get to find what they keep. The person with the most coins wins the game. Everyone gets to keep their chocolate coins and can even use it when playing Spin the Dreidel game. Make sure to give special tips just to the little kids so that they get some coins too. Also, another approach is to have in addition to the hidden coins, is to have one special hidden item per guest that has their name on it. This party game is a fun one to play with a group of people but will work well with just one or two children as well. Even better the kids get to keep the chocolate that they find during this party game.
