Hanukkah wall decorations make wonderful accent decorations for any Hanukkah party. Hanukkah wall decorations include dreidal cutouts, Menorahs, Happy Hanukkah, Star of David, and gelts. Wall decorations are just a small of the different party supplies and decorations that can be used for Hanukkah. Additional Hanukkah party supplies include decorations in the form of white, silver, and blue. Include colored balloons, banners, tableware items, danglers, curling ribbon , and centerpieces.
One of the best ways to get children (non-Jewish children especially) in the spirit of the holiday besides wall decorations and other party supplies is by playing Hanukkah games. One game that is surely to be a success among children is a Life-Size Dreidel Game. Make a dreidel mat using a large piece of cardboard or paper, an old sheet or exercise mat, or even painter's tape directly on the floor. Divide the surface into four squares, and label each square with one of the Hebrew letters used in the dreidel game: ? (Nun), ? (Gimmel), ? (Hey) and ? (Shin). A child stands in the center of the mat blindfolded (do not trust a child to keep his or her eyes closed on their own) and then have the child spin just like a dreidel. The player spins until they cannot spin anymore or for a few seconds. Remove the blindfold or have the player open his eyes. Which section of the mat are they in? Hand out party favors and let every child have a turn.
